William Joseph
July 12, 1946 - March 28, 2009
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother. Bill was born in Gleengaires, Scotland to Bill and the late Dorine Edgar. The family immigrated to Canada in 1957. Bill and Barb were married in 1966 and raised 3 daughters, 1 son and 34 foster children here in Comox Valley. Bill was an avid baseball player. He coached a group of teenage girls and took them all the way to win the end of season tournament. Bill, Barb and family relocated to Terrace where many of their beloved grandchildren were born. Bill was a very involved grampa and attended school functions and sports activities. He was renowned for his great sense of humour and his signature moon walk dance.
Services were held in Terrace April 2nd.
He will be greatly missed by his sisters June Munro, Sheola Wingrave and Linda Dobinson.
