Dear editor,Re: Coal project needs support.Jim McMillan’s letter, identifying himself only as from Campbell River, piqued my interest.He wrote of a vocal minority (only) being against the Raven coal project but then begs for support for the “for” side.Other news reports have said that there has been massive support for the “no's” in Courtenay-Comox and the Port Alberni area. McMillan’s arguments sounded very weak; obviously the “fors” are in dire straits.Google is a wonderful tool of our modern tech age. When I Googled his name, guess what?A Jim McMillan is a senior geologist for Quinsam Coal mine (Campbell River) and has other high connections to the local coal industry.
