Thank you to the councillors and staff of the Town of Comox for a number of community initiatives.
As an avid urban cyclist I am thrilled with the new bike lanes on Anderton Road and the bike markings on Beaufort and Bolt.
These undertakings make it clear to cyclists and motorists where lanes and bike routes are in our community.
The work being undertaken to open the Cottonwood Lane is most welcome. This public land has long been planned for a pathway — it is now coming to fruition.
Then there's the wonderful Art Plaza outside the Pearl Ellis Gallery on Comox Avenue, which has been operating in the summer and throughout the fall. What a grand addition to the downtown core.
All of these completed plans are helping to make our community more sustainable and livable.
