Dear editor,
Not too many years ago, the recycling sites at Courtenay Country Market and others, had separate bins for metal, glass, cardboard, paper and plastics. Then they said to stuff it all in one bin and somehow they would sort it out somewhere. What a yucky unnecessary job that would be, eh? Now the politicos are rearing up on their back legs
howling about material contamination! A head shake from this past RD Director for Area C (1990-96).
