Dear editor:
I just rode my bicycle to Comox along the Dyke Road.
I was looking forward to seeing how the new Comox hill bike lane was coming along.
I was very impressed with the work done on the road. What a difference it made for safety and ease for climbing the hill without cars whizzing past just inches away on the steepest part of the hill.
The Ryan Road bike lane up to North Island College could certainly be widened. I hope more bike lanes in the Valley are improved in the near future to help cars and bicycles coexist safely.
