Dear editor,
I fear the establishment of a homeless shelter on Cliffe Avenue opposite Shoppers Drug Mart, an area where many get their prescriptions and do their banking.
I am an elderly woman who has just been aggressively accosted by a homeless panhandler close to the Bank of Commerce, forcing me to leave the area.
A homeless shelter in the commercial area is not a favourable location and would increase the incidence of such unnerving encounters.
