This is a note of thanks to Frieda Home and Ernst Vegt expressing our, and indeed the entire community’s appreciation for the amount of time, effort and hard work we and other neighbours have witnessed them putting in to make the new Comox Valley 2015 calendar a success.
We owe you both a big thank you for your thoughtfulness, kindness and endeavour.
Having received our personal copies I want to commend its excellence, and notify folks that it is now available throughout the Valley at Credit Unions, bookstores and museums, and will be distributed elsewhere shortly.
With all profits donated to the Comox Valley Food Bank it is worth everyone’s consideration. The calendar is a credit to all who have chosen to live in this wonderful place.
With potential profits in the order of several thousand dollars it makes a huge donation to the food bank.
Comprising a collection of the best pictures from the cameras of local photographers with matching written explanations, the calendar features many places and events that are familiar to all who live here and dear to the hearts of many.
It represents the highest standards of its contributors, its sponsors and printers, and the two of you who have worked so hard to put it together and make it show all of the good and beautiful, fun things we all enjoy so much. So we thank you for that.
Everyone involved has done a stirling job.
We are willing to bet that it goes to second printing.
At $20 per copy it is absolutely the best contribution we could ever have made to the food bank.
