Dear editor,I wonder why Steven Harper would possibly throw away 100,000 votes.His minister of fisheries has decided to steal from the food fishermen of British Columbia their natural heritage of catching fish to process and give it to commercial businesspeople.There are about 100,000 hunters and fishermen in British Colombia who process meat and fish to store and have been doing this for centuries.The minister of fisheries comes from the East Coast, where you can't catch a fish to eat in the salt chuck. This is the very thing she is planning to do here in British Columbia.So, Steven Harper, will you let it happen? If so, it's on your shoulders. Harold R. Smith,Courtenay
