Hey, Courtenay mayor, do something about campground

Dear editor,

Re: Maple Pool.

Hey, Larry, don't just stand there. Do something.

Dear editor,

Re: Maple Pool.

Hey, Larry, don’t just stand there. Do something.

You were elected as Courtenay mayor as a “common sense” candidate, as were some of your fellow councillors.

Now you’re all standing there saying, “It was those other guys.”

No! The buck stops with you and your common sense colleagues. I believe the city administrator responsible for starting this suit, has since left the city.

Now is the time to get off your phenarguses, and say enough let’s stop this silly law suit and help the Lin family improve their property and their business. Let’s work with them and not against them.

Remember, it’s not your money, or the City’s money. It belongs to us — “we the people” and you are wasting it on a needless lawsuit.

So, Larry, time to do something using your common sense that we elected you for.

V.J. Dupuis,

Courtenay
