Dear editor,Regarding teachers' pay, your editorial comment on my letter ('Questions offered for polling', Record, April 18) was technically correct.While British Columbia does rank 10th in what it pays new teachers, it is now ninth in what it pays experienced teachers.With that distinction in mind, I would add a word to my original question: Can B.C. expect to retain its best teachers and attract new ones if they are among the lowest paid in Canada?Tom Pater,Courtenay
