Dear editor,I am writing in regards to the on-going feud between dog owners upon which the Comox Valley Regional District seems to have taken a very biased stand.I am absolutely appalled that the CVRD seems to have nothing better to do than to seize and impound two dogs on a "he says, she says" scenario, when no one actually witnessed the alleged attack.To impound two dogs on hearsay, and not have them allowed to see their owners or their veterinarian is totally unfair and just downright wrong!Since when have animals been presumed and treated as guilty until proven innocent? Should not all the dogs involved have been impounded until the conflict between owners were resolved?It may very well be that the small dog injured itself while trying to free itself from a hole in the fence that it had tried to get through. Unfortunately, no one will ever know the truth.I am sure that the CVRD could find better ways to spend their time, and the taxpayers moneys!Darlene Arsenault,Courtenay
