Dear editor,Tis the time of year for the water meter debacle. Freedom of choice should rule if you want one you get one, the stipulation is you have to pay for it and the infrastructure that comes along with maintaining/reading these meters.Realize that the installation of these meters would not reduce usage/leaks but potentially increase them drastically.Bottom line is the Valley is growing in leaps and bounds and the water licence should be increased to reflect this.I heard we have a lake in the area that is quite deep.
