Dear editor,
Re: cycling lanes.
Instead of wasting money on cycling lanes on streets that were not designed for these lanes, use the money to continue the darn sidewalks on some of the main arteries — such as Fitzgerald South, 26th St., Willemar Avenue — that only have partial sidewalks on either side of the street.
It’s getting to be a huge burden on taxpayers just to keep catering to cyclists (i.e. elaborate covered bridges and these new special lanes).
