Dear editor,
It has been mentioned that the ferry service is an extension of the highways system and should be funded as such.
Is there not enough money coming from the gasoline tax and vehicle plate fees to fund the ferry service? It must amount to billions of dollars per year.
I have a solution to the problem.
All provincial and federal politicians representing Vancouver Islanders will be voted out of office in the next election if they don't fix the the problems with BC Ferries service and make it affordable for all. It's easy to do if we all come together and vote in the next election.
