Dear Editor;
I was most pleased to see in the Record that our MLA, Ronna-Rae Leonard, rose in the legislature to recognize L’Arche for their achievement in opening the much needed “I belong” facility.
I would have been even more pleased if I had seen her at even one of the many fundraisers that made this possible, or if she had advocated in any way on behalf of their organization while she was chair of the Comox Valley Housing and Homeless task force.
