Dear editor,
This is to Neil Vokey for complaining about the inconvenience of not being able to pay his bills on Fifth Street on Canada Day.
I had a father who fought in the war so we could celebrate being Canadian. Be glad you don’t live in places like Afghanistan.
No stores should be open July 1 or Nov. 11 if they can manage.
So, Neil, fly your flag. Let us celebrate and love Canada.
Pay your bills before the parade.
