Dear editor,

The Comox Valley Record on Friday reported that the Quality Foods in Driftwood Mall won the best grocer in Canada!

My congratulations!

QF contracts out to one of the best cleaning operations, Nova Clean Janitorial, out of Nanoose Bay, to clean their store seven nights every week. I think it is wonderful how this award-winning store also puts so much into keeping their store clean.

And if anyone does not know how lovely it is to have coffee, a sandwich, or dessert in the upstairs section of QF, please try it.

It is a lovely atmosphere among all the very decorative shower, wedding, kitchenware, candles, knick-knacks; and there are huge chairs and tables to sit at and watch all the shoppers below! There is an elevator, or stairs, to get to this section.

Life can be charming.

Olivia Sargeant,

Courtenay
