Radio listeners thank Shaw for restoring stations

Dear editor, The listeners of Shaw Cable radio in and around the Comox Valley recently lost almost all of their favourite stations.

Dear editor,

During the week of April 22 the devoted listeners of Shaw Cable radio in and around the Comox Valley suddenly lost almost all of their favourite stations.

Because we were quite public with our displeasure, not to mention sadness, we received a phone call last week that made us very happy indeed.

We weren't able to contact the people who phoned us, but after seeing a letter to the editor last week from another sad radio listener, I thought we'd better share the good news right away.

If you happened to be as addicted to your radio stations as we found out we were (serious withdrawal symptoms), the following will most definitely help — enjoy!  And thank you, Shaw.

• 88.1 – CBC Radio One (Victoria);

• 88.3 – CBC radio Two (Vancouver);

• 88.5 – KPLU (Jazz Tacoma);

• 88.7 – KUOW (National Public Radio Seattle);

• 89.5 – KING (Classical Seattle);

• 89.9 – CBUF French (Vancouver).

Rosemary Baxter,

Courtenay
