Dear editor,
Here’s an idea who’s time has come: Comox Valley fire protection services.
Comox does the north side of the Valley and Courtenay does the south side of the Valley.
No need for wasted duplication of expenditures; an opportunity to consolidate infrastructure and amalgamate volunteer resources;
save the taxpayers of the Valley hitherto Comox and Courtenay, a considerable amount of money, currently and in the future.
Come on politicians and bureaucrats as well as both fire chiefs; let’s get going on what we realize to be logical, economical and beneficial co-operation!
