Dear editor,
The people who stole the No Coal Mine signs around Fanny Bay and the Valley stole more than just some pieces of plastic that were private property.
In sneaking up people’s driveways in the dark, they also stole those folks’ peace of mind and sense of security.
Worse, for all of us, they stole the democratic right to freedom of expression, and for that, we are all the poorer.
