St. Joseph's Hospital staffers praised for great care

Dear editor, On March 21, I presented at the emergency ward with abdominal pains and shortness of breath. Albeit it took a while to be seen and examined, my experience was very positive. All personnel involved with me were professional, caring and friendly at all times.

Dear editor,On March 21, I presented at the emergency ward with abdominal pains and shortness of breath.Albeit it took a while to be seen and examined, my experience was very positive. All personnel involved with me were professional, caring and friendly at all times.Special thanks go to Drs. Murphy and Laurence for their care and for keeping me informed of my status; and to RN Paula Ives, who went beyond the call of duty to feed the parking meter at 2 a.m. when it was established that I would be held overnight for observation.I was released at 10 a.m., having been diagnosed, medicated and feeling much better.Thank you, St. Joe's for a job well done, and much appreciated.Chuck Rheault,Comox
