Dear editor,
Hello, my name is Robbie Thompson. I’m writing this e-mail after just reading a recent article regarding a local nurse named Chad Dwolisnky and his successful heart transplant (Against all odds, Comox Valley man gets his heart; Comox Valley Record, June 10).
I have a great interest in the article as its subject is very close to me. You see, I myself have had two heart transplants in my short life (I’m only 16.)
My family and I are quite passionate about organ donation as a result.
If possible, I’d like a very big thanks to be relayed to the author of the article and as well, of course, the Record for publishing this. Also, if it is possible for you to relay a congratulations to the Dwolinsky family, that would be very appreciated.
