Dear Editor,
Thank you so much for running the letter in Viewpoint about the overuse of autos in Comox Valley, and everywhere for that matter.
The CVRD completely missed the boat when the 5th Street Bridge was under construction. They could have sold transit to the public, and significantly reduced traffic on a long term scale.
Greenhouse gasses are killing us and we need to be more forthright in convincing drivers to regulate and eliminate their auto usage. It is vital for future generations.
