Dear editor,
I find it both fascinating and disappointing at how the media is playing up the fact that people are not interested in a federal election.
Around the world, millions of women, children and men are being jailed, tortured, and murdered because they want more participation in their government. And some Canadians are bored with it all?
People who complain about elections and referenda should get on their knees and be thankful that they can actually participate in government without fear of retribution.
People who complain about elections should be ashamed of themselves. Next time they complain about government, they should be looking into a mirror for the cause of their complaint.
