B.C. high school track and field live-stream coverage Friday

ViaSport scheduled to webcast several finals from 2-6 p.m.

The 2014 B.C. High School Track and Field Championship is the largest ever.

With the new Junior (Grade 9-10) division joining the senior (Grades 11-12) and Invitational Grade 8 sections, the meet will feature some 2,500 athletes from 260 schools, an increase of about 1,000 athletes from last year.

There is also an extra day of competition this year, with the event running May 29-21 at Langley's McLeod Athletic Park.

ViaSport Productions is scheduled to  provide live-stream coverage on Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. of the sprint hurdles finals, 100m finals, 400m finals, 1500m finals and 4x100m relay finals.
