Local roller derby team, the Brick House Betties, invited Whistler’s Black Diamond Betties to the Comox Valley on March 8 to play a pre-season scrimmage at the CRI. The teams first met last season and are well matched.

The Brick House Betties have two home games at the CVSC this derby season. April 18 will be a local match-up against Campbell River’s Rink Minx. Whistler will be back again May 9 for another “Battle of the Betties.”
