Banner Landscaping Brewers ran their record to a perfect 7-0 to lead Tier 1 teams in Comox Valley mixed slopitch. The Brewers edged out Sauced 7-4 & hammered the Avengers 21-3. The Renegades are in 2nd spot after beating Havoc 17-13. Their other game was not reported against the Sofa Kings. Sauced & Havoc are tied for third after Sauced beat up on the Malfunctions 19-9. Havoc’s game against the Avengers was also not reported. The Malfunctions kept the Avengers without a win this season 12-5.
The Bandits remained atop Tier 2 standings. Bandits nipped the Benchwarmers 15-14 but split a double header falling 13-11 to the Power House Auto Wrecks but rebounded with a 14-9 victory against Average Joe’s. Average Joe’s moved to third spot with a 14-10 win over Sweet Spot. The Wrecks knocked off the Grind 14-8 while Sweet Spot played to a 12-12 draw with the Benchwarmers.
Rennie’s Rascals ran their record to 7-1 outscoring Trash Pandas 21-8 & doubled the Mother Truckers 12-6. The Tulsremained a half game behind the Rascals as they won 13-6 over the Mother Truckers & took down the Trash Pandas14-3. Randomz won both of their games to move into a tie for third winning 12-7 against the Contenders & 9-4 over thewinless Pandas. Brew Crew were tied with Randomz after beating the Contenders 16-12.
Shelter Point Tropics remain in a tie for first place in Tier 4 despite being doubled up by Pitch Slapped 14-7 but edged the Brew Jays 14-13 in their other contest. The Giants are the other team tied for first as they handled the White Spot legends 15-6 . The Giants split a pair as they nipped Fluid Ballers 8-7 but fell 11-10 to Pitch Slapped. The Ballers edged the Coco Loco’s 9-8. White Spot Legends won their first game of the season getting by the Coco Loco’s 10-8.
