The Brick House Betties roller derby team's first scrimmage of 2015 will be a fundraiser on behalf of local small-business owner and Betties' supporter, Sunday Dennis, who recently required emergency medical treatment.
Spectators are welcome to watch as mid-Island roller derby players, including some male and junior skaters, come together to scrimmage. Join the Betties on Sunday, Jan. 25 at the CRI in Cumberland from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
"Show your support, donate to Sunday, and cheer for your Betties!" a team spokesperson said.
