Best 9 Holes

A chilly Tuesday, April 5 saw 16 hardy participants in the Crown Isle Ladies Golf Opening Day.  It was a game of ‘Best 9 Holes’ which is individual play where you play 18 holes and then select your best first or second nine-hole score, deducting half your handicap for the net score.  Congratulations go to the following:

Rosemary Smith won low gross, best total 9 holes with a 45.  Second was a tie between Katy Macaulay and Mathilde Schneider at 46.

Julie Teupah won low net with a 36 and Pat Johnson was second with 39. KPs were won by Helen Flynn (#4) and Mathilde Schneider (#12), and Margaret Forgeron had a birdie on #2.

The Crown Isle course is in great shape and we’re all looking forward to a season of fun and friendship – and good golfing.
