Comox ladies end season with Cross Country game of golf

Cross Country was the game for the final round for the Comox Tuesday Ladies league on Sept. 28.

For this fun event the ladies played from different tee boxes to different greens. For example for #2 we played to the third green and #3 we played to the fourth green and so on. Four guests joined us and had a great time.

On Sept. 21 the ladies had a blind draw scramble. Patti Harris, Anne Patterson and Linda Verdenhalven tied with Pat Everett,  Peg Runquist and Jean Kirby with a score of 76.

Scoring 77 was the team of Grace Coulter, Linda Diamond and Gi Carlson. Nancy Riva, Marg Kelly and Edith Albrecht shot 78. Sharon Crowe, Barb Buchanan and Pat Schmidt came in with 79.

Amber Dufour, Mary Suchla and Louella Dooe had a good time. The longest putt winners were Patti Harris and Nancy Riva.

To all our loyal sponsors for Tuesday and Thursday evenings,  thank you for a great year: Looneyrama, Keith Gibson, Jesse Moussa, The Tee Box, Panago Pizza, Western Forest Products, Amazon Gifts, Signature Wines, Thrifty’s, Mid Island Gifts.
