Comox Valley Jets qualify for mosquito baseball provincials

The Mosquito AAA Tier 2 Comox Valley Jets, made of up 10- and 11-year-olds, qualified for the provincials this past weekend at Aspen Park in Comox. The Jets played a double round robin zone playoff against the Nanaimo Pirates and the Victoria Bandits.

The Comox Valley Jets qualified for the provincials by winning a playoff tournament in Comox over the weekend. The Mosquito AAA Tier 2 Comox Valley Jets, made of up 10- and 11-year-olds, qualified for the provincials this past weekend at Aspen Park in Comox. The Jets played a double round robin zone playoff against the Nanaimo Pirates and the Victoria Bandits.

The Jets were tied in the standings with the Nanaimo Pirates up to the last game of the playoffs, when the Jets beat the Pirates 19-3 to clinch first place. The Jets are off to North Delta this coming long weekend for the provincials.
