As Comox Valley United enters a new era, the soccer club has chosen a new badge that honours the club’s past and looks to the future.
The background consists of mountains and forests, symbolizing the beauty of the Comox Valley. In the foreground is a maple leaf to honour the many military members and vets, and to symbolize that the Comox Valley is a military community.
The remainder of the crest was inspired by the old badge, but also by the sharp look of various professional clubs.
“The process to choose a new badge was long but worth it,” CVUSC president Stefan Szkwarek said. “It took many iterations but we are proud of our new look.”
