The Isfeld Ice junior boys’ basketball team has won the North Island championship, beating the host Nanaimo District Secondary School 52-44 in the championship match.
Isfeld is the top-seeded North Island team heading into this weekend’s Island championships in Victoria. Their first game in the competition is Thursday, Feb. 13, against Lambrick Park.
