Dafoe, Good win Comox ladies golf titles

Venuta scores hole in one at annual club championship

COMOX LADIES GOLFERS were out in force for their club championship.

Jan Dafoe shot 78 and 79 last Saturday and Sunday to win the Comox Ladies Club Championship. The low net winner was Brenda Good with 131. Another highlight of the second round was Suzy Venuta’s hole-in-one on #18.

Flight 2 low gross: 1. Amber Dufour (187), 2. Buchan Mahon (192), 3. Anne Patterson (197); low net: 1. Brenda Good (131), 2. Pat Schmidt (142), 3. Linda Verdenhalven (143).

Flight 3 low gross: 1. Barb Buchanan (193), 2. Edith Albrecht (204), 3. Yvonne Baker (207); low net: 1. Linda Diamond (134), 2. Luella Dooe (136), 3. Bernice Sutherland (140).
