The Greater Courtenay Doubles Disc Golf Championships go Sunday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. at the Fir Meadows DG Course in Courtenay.
Golfers from around the islands will be gathering to crown the 2012 champions in both the amateur and pro divisions. There will be a round of all 21 holes and a final nine shootout round for the top three teams in each division to crown the competition.
Entry fees are $20 per team and $2 per player for the Ace Pot. "Organize your team and get out for some discing fun," an event spokesperson said.
