The Comox Valley Regional District and Tim Hortons are once again making it possible to celebrate New Year’s Eve family-style with a free skate and swim from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 31 at the CVRD’s sports centre.
“We are excited to be able to re-open the sports centre pool for this event,” said Sheila Van Nus, marketing specialist for the CVRD. “Having access to both the pool and arenas provides a unique experience for family and friends to enjoy.”
The hot tub and sauna will not be available but are expected to re-open early in the new year.
Tim Hortons will serve complimentary Timbits, hot chocolate and coffee.
