West Coast Grinders beat the CV Marine Misfits 15-8 and hammered the Coco Loco’s 28-7 last week to run their record to 4-0 in Comox Valley Men’s Slopitch.
Seeco Slammers remained unbeaten, outscoring Smokin’ Woody’s
20-7 then knocking off the unbeaten Avengers 24-10. S&M Swingers won a couple of close ones as they got by Solo La Puntita 9-4 and nipped Weavers Leather Ballbusters 7-6.
KNB Steamers dropped a pair, 8-7 to the Avengers and 19-17 to Madman McKay Jays. The Coco Loco’s fell 17-3 to the Ballbusters.
