Herb Bradley Pepsi Challenge cancelled

VISAS forced to scrub major fundraiser due to lack of snow on Mount Washington

Due to the unseasonal snow conditions at Mount Washington Alpine Resort, the 2014 Herb Bradley Pepsi Challenge, scheduled for Sunday, Feb.16, has been cancelled.

Vancouver Island Society for Adoptive Snowsports (VISAS) organizers announced the cancellation on Feb. 12. "Over the last 24 years Vancouver Island businesses, community groups and families have generously supported (our) major fundraiser," a VISAS spokesperson said.

"(We) would like to thank Mount Washington, all sponsors and teams who were to have participated in this year’s event. VISAS will be in contact with each registered team regarding their 2014 registration."
