Kabush 16th at World Cup race

Posts second best finish by Canadian in men's elite race in Quebec

Courtenay's Geoff Kabush warmed up for the 2012 Olympic Games with a 16th place finish at the UCI World Cup stop in Mont-Sainte-Anne. QC on Sunday, June 24.

The seven-time Canadian champion who will be representing Canada for the third time at the Olympics, was the second-best Canadian elite male finisher.

 

Twot-ime Canadian champ Max Plaxton, also on the Canadian cross-country mountain bike team that will be in London, England in July, posted a career-first top-five finish. Plaxton was fifth overall in the men's elite race.
