Kelly's golf skills acknowledged

Glacier Greens head pro going to Florida for Canadian club pros championship

 

 

 

Bill Kelly, the PGA head professional at Glacier Greens Golf Course in Comox, was named as the regional winner for the PGA of BC Teacher of the Year for Vancouver Island as well as being one of four finalists for the British Columbia award.

In addition, Kelly will be travelling to Port St. Lucie, Florida from Nov. 18-21 as he qualified for the Canadian Club Professionals Championships. In addition,  he qualified high enough to be named as part of the four-man British Columbia team competing in the interprovincial event.

This is the fourth time in the past seven years that Kelly has qualified to represent B.C. in the team competition at the Canadian championships for club professionals.

Kelly obtained his PGA qualifications at the Royal Adelaide Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia which has been rated as one of the top 100 golf courses in the world.
