Kids and spectators alike had a great time at the recent, third annual, Comox Valley Exibition Track n' Trail Fun Run, jointly organized with the Comox Valley Road Runners.
Under blue skies and warm temperatures, 60 young athletes demostrated the pure joy of running and being active. They completed three different trails of varying length depending on their age. First place finishers received a CV Exibition Midway pass, but everyone came away a winner.
In the Marshmallow group (5 and under) Everett Burch and Quinn Smits were the first boy and girl. For the Chicklets (6-9) Jack Bindernagel and Alison Leroux led the pack. Jack Milliken and Abbey Loach lead the group of Truffles
(10 and up) across the finish line.
