The Mazda Peewee Chiefs started minor hockey regular season play this past weekend with a home game against Juan de Fuca Grizzlies on Saturday and an away game with Cowichan Valley Capitals at Fuller Lake.
The Chiefs had a slow start in both games, resulting in losses of 6-3 and 6-2. One of the goals for the team in the next few weeks will be to have a strong start to games instead of giving up early goals and playing catch up.
