A successful Mid-Island seniors golf tournament was held in ideal conditions Aug. 21 at the Sunnydale Golf Club, with 68 participants.
The low gross winner was Dave Pye (Sunnydale) with a stellar 71. Net winners at 62 were Larry Kulesh (BC Players), Tony Venuta (Comox) and Wayne Johnstone (Alberni).
Mid-Island seniors is open to and enjoyed by players age 55-plus with a valid Golf Canada handicap.
