The Pups defeated the Dirty Dawgs to win the Walrus Invitational Hockey Tournament last weekend at the Comox Valley Sports Centre.

Twelve men's hockey teams from all over Vancouver Island competed for the coveted title, with tournament MVP Paul Rodgers leading the Pups to victory.

"The Walrus Invitational Tournament would like to thank all the teams and the many sponsors that helped make this tournament such a success," an event spokesperson said.
