Abigail Rigsby and her Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles’ teammates were runners-up to the host school at the West Texas A&M Fall Invitational at La Paloma Golf Course in Amarillo, Texas.
Rigsby, a junior from Courtenay, shot a one-over par 73 on Monday, and 75 on Tuesday. She tied for sixth in the 62-woman field. She had 10 birdies over the course of the tournament, the second-highest total in the field. It was her first top-10 finish of the season.
The Lady Eagles are ranked number 21 in the Women’s Golf Coaches Association NCAA Division II poll. They posted a team score of 295 to close with an overall score of 588. West Texas A&M scored 581.
