Summer Slaycation roller derby match goes June 29 at Sports Centre




The first day of summer has passed and with it come those hoped for sunny days. The Rink Minx are doing their part to help and are bringing the Sunshine Coast Rollergirls to town on June 29.

This roller derby game promises to be full of action, as the Minx are on a three-win high. There are only a few games left this season so don’t miss out on your chance to experience the fastest growing sport in the world.

Join the Minx at Summer Slaycation, taking place at Comox Valley Sports Centre, 3001 Vanier Drive. Doors open at 6:30, the whistle blows at 7:30. Tickets are $10, kids 10 and under are free.
