Special Olympics AGM this Wednesday

Sign-up Sept. 12 for athletes and coaches at Comox Recreation Centre

 

 

 

 

Special Olympics BC-Comox Valley welcomes one and all to join them.

“If you or somebody you know is interested in joining our community of awesome athletes and great coaches, now is your chance to sign up,” a spokesperson said.

Programs being offered include 5-pin bowling, swimming, floor hockey, rhythmic gymnastics, curling, athletics, softball, bocce, FUNdamentals (youth ages 7 to 11) and alpine skiing.

Special Olympics BC-Comox Valley is hosting its annual AGM and registration day for any athlete and coach looking to participate in programs this year on Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 7-9 p.m. at the Comox Recreation Centre.

Registration fee for athletes is $20. “Remember to bring any pertinent health-care information for medical form purposes,” the spokesperson said.
