The Stone Cold Stellas junior roller derby team will play against Victoria’s Rotten Apples on Saturday, May 7 at the Comox Valley Sports Centre (arena 1). Junior derby is a competitive contact sport played on wheels by skaters ages 10-17. Two veteran Brick House Betties’ skaters, Icesis and Wright Krazy, coach the Stone Cold Stellas. Doors open at 5:30; game starts at 6 p.m. Entrance by donation (cash). Enjoy a 50/50 draw, merchandise tables, half-time entertainment by Laurie Tinkler School of Dance, and the concession. Bring the whole family to a fun night at the roller derby and cheer for these young athletes! FMI:
