The Comox Valley Tennis Club is ready to start the tennis season.
Registration was held Saturday, and record numbers of new and returning members showed up to play with all six courts busy throughout the day.
The season features the Opening Day Fun Tournament May 5, weekly doubles and mixed doubles league play, Friday evening drop-ins, Friday socials, tournaments, and friendly competitions with tennis clubs from Arrowsmith, Parksville, Campbell River and the annual cruise to Powell River.
Over 60 juniors are registered members each year. They are involved in weekly play, tournaments, socials, coaching and lessons.
