The Comox Valley United Soccer Club’s U18 girls and U18 boys soccer cohorts had their first tournament-style games against one another last weeknd.
Although both teams sported younger players, the fans would not have noticed by the way everyone played.
The weather could not have been any better.
The COVID restrictions have left most of these players with no organized soccer for almost seven months. Many of these players have been together since U8-U9, so it added an extra sense of watching something special.
